The focus of this job fair will be to fill multiple positions open that support our current operations and the new Children's Museum scheduled to open December 2, 2010. Applicants will be introduced to the team and will have a brief overview of where we are headed and how you can play a role in designing and delivering a memorable visitor experience! Position: Philanthropy Associate- Database Administrator, Part-time

Summary:
In this capacity, you will use proper procedures in maintaining historical collections, artifacts, and archives, conduct educational programs, research artifact and archives activities, exhibit preparations/displays associated with the museum with responsibility for all aspects of the Universal Sites Artifact Management System (USAMS). You will primarily serve in the following three capacities: managing archives and artifacts, research artifact and archives activities, and provide educational programs within the museum. Brockington and Associates is seeking archaeological field technicians based in our Savannah, GA office for survey work in the Southeast. The work requires individuals with a bachelor's degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field, and a minimum of field school or the equivalent field experience.Job responsibilities include the ability to conduct shovel testing and/or other unit excavations, artifact identification, note-taking, recording soil and other observations, field photography, use of handheld Global Positioning Systems devices, and general tasks under the direction of the Project Manager. Physical labor and time spent in outdoor conditions are a requirement of this job. Single-occupancy hotel rooms and meal allowance are provided. We will also provide vehicles for daily travel between the project area and the hotel.
